Cycling and walking

Whether you’re a road cyclist or looking for a Forest trail, we can help. We have teamed up with Trax in Lyndhurst, to make it easy to arrange bike hire. We can also advise on some routes to explore, or road maps for those looking to cycle further afield. We have secure overnight storage if bringing your own bike. There are a range of walks close by, or we can advise on options for walks across the Forest of varying distances, including those which might suit your four legged friend .. !

New Forest Activities – We work with the fantastic team at New Forest Activities who are experts in delivering outdoor activities in this wonderful National Park. They draw the areas best experiences into one place, making it easy for you to make the most of your time in The New Forest. With their expert instructors and guides, you’ll feel safe whilst enjoying an exciting range of outdoor activities and things to do in Hampshire, including Canoeing, Kayaking, Archery and more. Paultons Park – Home of Peppa Pig World is a family theme park is only a 12 minute drive away. Paultons features rides and attractions which include a rollercoaster, a log flume, a water park, adventure golf, a 4D cinema, birds and animals, beautiful landscapes and gardens.

New Forest Wildlife Park – Go Wild in the heart of the New Forest National Park in Ashurst, just a 6 to 8 minute drive away. Follow the woodland trails to see amazing animals in beautiful natural settings and have fun in the fabulous adventure playgrounds.

Lyndhurst – Known as the capital of The New Forest since William the Conqueror established it as a royal hunting ground in 1079, is an 8 to 10 minute drive away. There’s lots to see and do in this bustling town, including the centrally located New Forest Centre, which gives a guide into the Forest’s history and heritage.

Exbury Gardens is the perfect place for the whole family to spend the day with its impressive Rothschild flower collection, steam railway and more. Situated close by to the world famous Beaulieu, one of South of England’s top family days out including National Motor Museum, Palace House and Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear, and both are within 45 minutes drive.
